Shieldhall is a steamship representative of those that plied the oceans in the days of steam. Much of our machinery is a scaled down version of that fitted on the "Titanic" and other merchant ships from the 1880's through to the 1960's. Shieldhall is operated as a charity and manned completely with unpaid volunteers and is the largest steamship in Britain and probably Europe operated in this way.
Cost Ship visits are £2.50 per adult, children under 16 are free and must be accompanied by an adult. Our excursions vary between £25 and £40 and children 16 and under, are half price.
To book on any of our published excursions, please phone 023 8022 3278, or book and pay on the day. To visit the vessel, payment is required at the gangway and no booking is required.
