The Big Grove Summer Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever this year and will take place at the YOI Stadium off Grove Road, Portland on Saturday July 10th from mid day to 11.00 p.m.

This year we are particularly excited to be running in parallel with the Spirit of the Sea Festival and will have a ‘sea theme’ and, hopefully, some maritime themed exhibits and art work from local schoolchildren and artists on display.

We are seeking more sponsors for this event and would welcome any offers – maybe to sponsor something specific like the PA systems or the loos?? We can offer extensive advertising in return – on all publications / posters and on bill boards around the main stage. We already have some sponsors but would welcome more.

A great line up of musicians is already signing up to appear on the main stage and, on the second stage, there will be acoustic sets, other entertainment and an open mic session. In addition, there will be lots of entertainment and stalls for the whole family including bouncy castles, a ‘play project’ tent, a ‘wellbeing tent’ including massage, aromatherapy and tarot reading, fairground rides, 6 a side football competition, beer tent, food outlets and a wide range of stalls.

Tickets are £5 with concessions and all profits from the event go to support local charities and organisation, including the local school.
